Bars are always busy. People enjoy the bar atmosphere whether they are celebrating good times, or to lift their spirits during the bad times. Bartending may very well be the recession-proof career of recent years. Bartending offers flexible scheduling, job security, and of course great pay.
Pay is always a consideration when choosing a career, and bartenders have great earning potential. A skilled bartender in the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area can earn from one hundred to four hundred dollars a night in wages and tips! These figures are considerably higher than many entry-level positions with large corporations and other careers that require more extensive (and expensive) education and training.
Bartending allows people the freedom to choose a working environment that matches their personality. A good bartender can work anywhere in the country, or in the world. Some bartenders prefer the hotel or country club environment; others want to work in their friendly neighborhood pub, and some just have to work in the hottest nightclubs.
Bartending in the Tri-State area is a tough career to break into without prior experience or training at a professional school. Bartending can be a very lucrative full or part-time job. If you want to begin work in a quality neighborhood pub, an upscale business hotel or one of the tri-state's hottest nightclubs, you need to have the proper training before applying for that job.
Bar managers in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky receive many job applications every week from people with no experience or training who want to break into the bar and restaurant industry. Those applications usually end up in the trash or are offered jobs as hosting and wait staff. Thinking you can get that bartending job without training or experience is a mistake.
People with no knowledge of our school will tell you; "You don't need to go to bartending school!" These same people cannot help you get a bartending job, only give you bad advice. Our graduates get great bartending jobs right out of school with no prior experience. See our Graduate Photo page with over 200 pictures of our graduates behind some of the tri-state's best bars! We believe a picture is worth a thousand words!
We are a professional, state-licensed trade school and require that all prospective students come into the school for a personal interview/school tour. It only takes about 45 minutes and gives you a chance to see our facility and ask any questions you choose in person. We will take the time to answer your questions, show you our classrooms, training materials and explain our local and nationwide job placement program.
Our tuition is very reasonable. Most people just write a check or put it on a credit card. We also offer very affordable payment options. We have found that most students earn back their tuition in just tips alone, within the first one to two weeks of bartending. We will review our tuition and payment options with you during the personal interview/school tour.
Take the next step and call our school today at 513-541-3555 and let us help you get started in your new bartending career!
